Travel Recap 2012: Nomadic Expeditions Week: Photo Friday: 20th Anniversary Founder's Journey

In addition to ushering in 2013 with positive energy and an appetite for fresh discovery, our annual tradition at JG Black Book is to commemorate all that we and our partners have experienced in the past year.

Celebrate with us each day this week as we pause and rewind to some of our favorite, most popular Black Blog of Travel entries from 2012.

Thanks for the memories!

Cheers to 2013,

-the JG Black Book team

Welcome to Nomadic Expeditions Week on the Black Blog of Travel! This week, every post features our travel partner and Black Book Collection member, Nomadic Expeditions in Mongolia.

Last month's Nomadic Expeditions Founder's Journey was the perfect way to celebrate Mongolia and the 20 years Nomadic Expeditions has been guiding adventurous travelers through the dynamic landscapes and nomadic cultures of the country.  Thanks to two remarkable photographers, this Photo Friday showcases the journey from the Golden Eagle Festival in the western mountains to the Gobi Desert and Three Camel Lodge in the south.  Mongolia-BlueSky-EagleHunterPhoto by B. After emailing my survey to my class and having others take it, I received 43 finished responses. There were slightly more females who responded, but I do not think that means much, if anything. Also, there was not a large minority population take part in my survey so minority groups might be misrepresented in the research I gathered.

Wine shops are in my opinion the greatest influencers of the consumer's taste. And New York especially has many really excellent ones.
